NEXA Mining Pool — Frequently Asked Questions

What is DrillHash — NEXA mining pool?
DrillHash is a NEXA-only mining pool built from the ground up for INIBOX ASICs and GPU miners. We run open-books PPLNS and SOLO with honest payouts — no hidden fees, no gimmicks. Our goal is simple: give INIBOX owners a reliable pool after the INI coin collapsed, and give GPU miners a fair place to earn NEXA. Your wallet is your account — no registration needed. Whether you mine NEXA with INIBOX ASICs or GPU rigs, DrillHash provides the same honest, transparent mining pool experience.
How do I connect my INIBOX to the NEXA mining pool?
Log into your INIBOX web panel and set Pool 0 to stratum+tcp://drillhash.com:3500 with user nexa:YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS.m1 and password x. The pool auto-detects INIBOX firmware (IniMiner/v20.0.0) and assigns optimal difficulty (2.56). Average INIBOX hashrate: ~850 MH/s on NEXA. Keep Pool 1 empty or point it to the same address as backup.
How do I connect a GPU miner to DrillHash NEXA pool?
Use lolMiner, Rigel, or any NexaPoW-compatible miner with stratum+tcp://drillhash.com:3500. Set user to nexa:YOUR_WALLET_ADDRESS.rigName and password x. GPU hashrate varies: RTX 3070 ~35 MH/s, RTX 3080 ~55 MH/s, RTX 3090 ~70 MH/s, RTX 4070 ~60 MH/s, RTX 4080 ~90 MH/s, RTX 4090 ~120 MH/s. The pool uses vardiff for GPUs — difficulty adjusts automatically to your speed.
What INIBOX models are supported?
DrillHash supports all INIBOX models running firmware 5.0+ with IniMiner cgminer 5.05. This includes the INIBOX 5A and similar variants. The pool detects INIBOX by its User-Agent string (IniMiner/v20.0.0) and assigns fixed difficulty 2.56 — matching INIPool convention. Your INIBOX should mine at 750–900 MH/s depending on model and ambient temperature. No firmware changes needed — just point to our pool address.
What are the expected hashrates?
INIBOX ASICs: 750–900 MH/s per unit (typically ~850 MH/s). GPU miners vary widely by card — a single RTX 3080 does ~55 MH/s while an RTX 4090 can reach ~120 MH/s. Multi-GPU rigs scale linearly. The pool difficulty auto-adjusts for GPUs (vardiff), so whether you run one GPU or a full rig, shares arrive at a steady rate. Your personal hashrate is visible on your wallet dashboard page.
How do payouts work?
PPLNS payouts run every 4 hours UTC in batch transactions. Minimum payout is 100,000 NEXA — once your balance hits this, you get paid automatically to your mining wallet. SOLO miners receive the full block reward (minus 1% fee) directly when they find a block. All payouts include on-chain TX IDs you can verify on the NEXA explorer. If your balance is below threshold, it carries over to the next payout cycle.
What is the pool fee?
PPLNS fee is 0% for the first 7 days from launch (promo period), then 1% after. SOLO fee is always 1% regardless of promo. There are no hidden charges, no setup fees, and no withdrawal fees — the 1% covers server costs and development. The promo timer on the homepage shows exactly when the free period ends. After that, 1% is standard for NEXA pools.
What is PPLNS vs SOLO?
PPLNS (Pay Per Last N Shares) distributes block rewards proportionally based on your shares in a 1-hour rolling window. More shares = bigger payout. Steady and predictable. SOLO means you mine alone — if you find the block, you get the entire reward (~5M NEXA minus 1% fee). Higher risk, higher reward. Use SOLO if you have significant hashrate (500+ MH/s), otherwise PPLNS is recommended for consistent earnings.
Where can I see my hashrate?
Enter your nexa: wallet address in the search box at the top of any page. Your personal dashboard shows real-time hashrate (1h and 24h averages), active workers, share count, earnings history (last 14 days), and payment records. The wallet page updates every 10 seconds. You can also bookmark your wallet URL: drillhash.com/#miner=nexa:YOUR_ADDRESS for quick access.
Why choose DrillHash as your NEXA mining pool?
INIBOX machines were sold with one promise: mine and earn. When INI collapsed, owners were left with expensive hardware and no pool. DrillHash was built specifically for these INIBOX owners — a reliable NEXA mining pool that speaks INIBOX's language (same difficulty, same protocol). We also welcome GPU miners with fair vardiff. Open books, no hidden cuts, honest block reporting. Whether you're mining NEXA with INIBOX ASICs or GPU rigs, DrillHash provides transparent, honest mining pool operations. Some of us own INIBOX machines ourselves — we built what we wanted to use.
